Within the manufacturing process, a high efficient industrial technique is combined with a traditional craft. After the manual production of a simple aluminum shade by sheet metal spinning, the 3D cnc cut robot takes over. Produced out of only one piece of sheet metal, ROHLINGLICHT keeps it’s raw and generative aesthetics.

His strong belief in the positive impact of well designed spaces on learning efficiency has led him to become an expert in the design of school environments and furniture also. He often involves students in the development process.

His studio offers space and color concepts and interior design as well as design development of serially produced products, including prototyping. With the help of local partners, Dominik Hehl also provides office furnishings and fitted kitchens.
